・If you are late by over 15 minutes, you will be charged an additional 1500 yen for each successive hour late.

・Rental includes helmets and vehicle insurance (covers rider & property up to 30 million yen)
・In case of an accident, transportation for the rider and EV-bike will be charged at 2,000 yen. Transportation from Innoshima or Setoda will be charged an additional 5,000 yen (includes bridge tolls).
・Due to the battery range, the electric scooter can rented for a maximum of 3 hours.
The event will be closed if it rains. If you have already made a reservation, cancellations due to rain are free of charge. If you cancel outside of rain, a cancellation fee will be charged.

The Shimanami Kaido is recognized as a cyclists’ paradise which has attracted travelers from all over the world. However, sadly some people give up coming since they fear having to climb the series of hills to reach bridges that connect the islands along the Seto Inland Sea.
We started offering EV-bike rentals just with these people in mind. Everyone is welcome to take a free test ride, from those curious to just try it out, to those who want to try before renting, or for those worried if they can operate one. Come on by!
